    Our renowned 18-hole course acts as the cornerstone of The Golf Club at South River. Engrained in the South River Colony community, our course offers sprawling views and challenging play. Following our transition to Bermuda grass in the summer of 2021, our course has seen an extended optimal-play season, featuring unbelievably lush greens and incredibly strong fairways. Read below to review a hole-by-hole overview of The Golf Club at South River's course!

    Hole 1

    The opening par 4 is a perfect example of how to follow where the architect guides you. Take the water out of play by teeing up on the right side of the tee box and aim left toward the bunker. Just be sure you hit a club that can't reach the bunker off the tee.

    HD GOLF SIMULATOR

    The Golf Club at South River is pleased to offer "High Definition Golf", the world’s most amazing golf simulator with a level of realism that captures the essence of each course.

    With over 25 Championship Courses from around the world, you can play the same course as the PGA Pros are playing on Sunday, including; - Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, Pinehurst, Spyglass and Torrey Pines! With revolutionary image processing software, the HD Simulator combines high resolution digital images, satellite data and geophysical data into 3D models of each golf course that not only look real - they are completely accurate everywhere on the course. Every tree, bunker and hazard is faithfully reproduced exactly as you would see it if you were playing the actual course.

    HD Golf goes beyond the great courses with features for Club Fittings, Swing Dynamics, Video Swing analysis.

    Our Sim Room is a great place to practice your swing, play family games or just gather with friends for some fun. So you can tell your friends you have the same HD Simulator as some of the game’s greatest; Fred C., Steve S., Bubba W. and Louis O.

    Queenstown Harbor

    Golf members enjoy unlimited complimentary reciprocity with our sister courses at Queenstown Harbor Resort as well as an option to stay at the newly constructed Cottages on the water. Queenstown features two 18-hole championship courses with scenic water views and natural beauty that is second to none.

    The River Course

    The River Course is consistently rated as having some of the best golf in Maryland and the Washington, D.C. area. Reopened at the beginning of 2011 after a thoughtful and extensive renovation, several holes were moved closer to the Chester River, and all bunkering was updated to create a windswept design that mimics the natural landscape of the site, optimizes shot values and ensures superior conditioning. 

    The Lakes Course

    The Lakes Course will challenge every aspect of your game. From the accuracy needed to tame the peninsular green on #6 to the spectacular finishing hole, the course will test the mettle of anyone who thinks they can carry the sand. Ranked several times as one of the best courses in the country for women, The Lakes Course offers a great time for all golfers.
