Renovation Celebration

Thanks to each and every Member who participated in our Renovation Celebration last Thursday. The evening was warmly received by Members and Guests as they viewed golf course renderings and Clubhouse floor plans presented by our General & Project Manager, Chris Calvert.

Permitting has begun for this exciting phase of the Clubhouse renovations. The golf shop operation will be moving to an outside location in the near future and the new Clubhouse will be private to Members and their Guests only once it re-opens. Stay tuned for weekly updates!

We would like to give you first opportunity to book your golf outing or special gathering at The Golf Club at South River. UPCOMING CLUB EVENTS

Couples Golf - Sunday October 19th - Join us Sunday at 1pm for a relaxing and enjoyable opportunity to meet other Couples. Contact the Golf Shop for more information.

Nike Match Play Challenge - continues throughout October. The event is reserved for The Golf Club at South River Members only and is open to both men and women. Participants will play a series of matches throughout October with final matches held on the weekend of October 24th. The winners will receive an exciting array of Nike apparel and equipment and will be crowned The Golf Club at South River Nike Match Play Champions. This event is complimentary for our Members. For more information, please contact Chad Carson or Tom Lloyd in the Golf Shop.

Scotch & Cigar Tasting - Saturday, October 25th - Join us after play on the Club patio at 1pm. Ed Berkman will offer exciting insights into cigar making and selection and the Club will present an array of Scotch and Cognac for your enjoyment. Participation is limited to the first twenty Members. Please contact the Golf Shop for reservations. Cost is $20.00 per Member.

Tail Gate Party - Navy Battles Delaware - November 1st- Join Members and friends for a fully catered tail gate party on Saturday November 1st, as Navy battles Delaware. Red Hot & Blue will offer the ultimate pre-game tailgate along with Moveable Mixtures providing the bar complete with wine, beer and soft drinks. Contact Donna Loftin if you are interested in participating in this complimentary fun filled afternoon at the Navy Stadium where all will enjoy the full benefits of tailgating with food, drink, music and TV - when kick off rolls around at 3:30pm, we will move in to the stadium to watch Navy and Delaware.

Member's First Friday - November 7th - 5pm until 7pm - Join fellow Members for an array of tasty appetizers and drinks with live entertainment. This Happy Hour is complimentary to our Members. If you have guests that you would like to bring, please contact Donna Loftin in the Membership Office.

AMBASSADOR´S CIRCLE

The Ambassador's Circle is a Club within our Club created to recognize and encourage existing Members to take advantage of the privilege of sponsorship by inviting new Members to the Club through our membership by invitation process.

The invitation process is the lifeblood of our Club Family and ensures that new members joining the Club have the same interests and like backgrounds of our existing Members. Membership sponsorship is vital to the success of our Club.
