Renovation Celebration

Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 6:30pm until 8:30pm
You are cordially invited to our RENOVATION CELEBRATION at The Golf Club at South River Pavilion. Join us under the stars as our General Manager, Chris Calvert presents the renderings and floor plans for our upcoming Clubhouse and golf course renovations. That evening, Lex Birney will make some exciting announcements about the future of The Golf Club at South River.
Cocktails and a selection of hors d'oeuvres presented by Tapenade Catering will be offered to our Members and select Guests. Please contact Donna Loftin in the Membership Office (if you have not already) if you plan on joining us, or would like to bring a Guest.

MEMBER GUEST TOURNAMENT

September 26, 27 & 28
Despite Mother Nature and the inclement weather, the inaugural Member Guest Tournament at The Golf Club at South River was a huge success. 26 teams turned out for three days of golf, skills games, prizes, live entertainment and dining. The staff was informed to "exceed Member expectations" and that motto will carry on as we transition into a Private Club.

Congratulations to Gary Fitzgerald and Steve Rowland who won the final shoot out on Sunday afternoon - "Sticks" and Steve have been invited back next year to retain and defend their position as Member Guest Champions!

MESSAGE FROM YOUR GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT

From all of us in the maintenance department, thank you for the consideration that was given to the golf course while playing in the Member Guest tournament. Your care and attention was exemplary. Everything from repair of ball marks, divots in the fairways and the use of the sand on the tee will go a long way to the continued success as our course improves.

AMBASSADOR´S CIRCLE

The Ambassador's Circle is a Club within our Club created to recognize and encourage existing Members to take advantage of the privilege of sponsorship by inviting new Members to the Club through our membership by invitation process.

The invitation process is the lifeblood of our Club Family and ensures that new Members joining the Club have the same interests and like backgrounds of our existing Members.
