You'll encounter many memorable holes on this stunningly picturesque course, which includes lavish bent grass fairways, large green complexes and meticulously maintained bunkers. The course is framed with oak-lined fairways, lush wetlands and distinctive elevation changes. While course upgrades will deliver an "all you want" challenge to the low handicapper, a new set of forward tees will provide a fun-filled outing for kids and families who are just beginning the game. The highlight of the course renovations will be the new practice area that will feature a completely renovated range with a new teeing area.

It's designed to allow members to work on every facet of their game from hitting those 300-yard drives to perfecting those 50-100 yard wedge shots that are so critical to scoring. The new putting and chipping greens will complete the total warm-up for a round of golf or allow you to come out for 20 minutes and take your ever important short game to the next level of perfection.

At South River, we believe a commitment to course conditions is critical for the full enjoyment of the round. You’ll find beautiful teeing ground, distinctive and flowing fairways, large receptive green complexes and bunkering that frames and guides one through the course. All of which renders "well-manicured" an understatement at South River. Nonetheless, future refinements promise to make the course even more flawless and fluid.
